The Florentine Clubs are non-profit, volunteer service organizations serving the communities of Florence and Star, Mississippi .  As part of the Mississippi Federation of Women’s Clubs, chartered in 1898, our purpose is to bring the women of the state together for service to their community and their state.

The annual Florentine Clubs’ “Christmas Tour of Homes” is the single largest fundraiser sponsored jointly by Florentine Morning Club and Florentine Evening Club in order to conduct our volunteer projects throughout the year.  Some of the volunteer projects supported and promoted by Florentine Clubs are: Habitat for Humanity, Prevention of Domestic Violence, HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership), Public Libraries,  Mississippi State Hospital at Whitfield,  Heifer International, Operation Smile, public education and literacy,  as well as others.
